Important Notes

Welcome to Naledi Casting

Please carefully review the following essential information before applying:

1. Location Requirement: Applicants must reside within 45 minutes of either Cape Town or Johannesburg. Most shoots are scheduled in these cities, so proximity is essential.
2. Short Intro Video: All applicants are required to submit a brief 5-second video introducing themselves. The video should include:
   “Hi, my name is [your name] and I want to do TV work because…”
3. All Ages & Looks Welcome: Naledi Casting encourages individuals of all ages, appearances, and backgrounds to apply. Everyone is welcome to join our community.
4. Availability for Shoots: Auditions, callbacks, wardrobe fittings, and shoot days typically occur on weekdays.
   • Adults should be prepared for full-day shoots, lasting between 10 and 12 hours.
   • Children’s working hours depend on their age and the nature of the shoot.
5. Legal Requirement for Children: Applicants under 16 years old require a consent letter signed by a parent or guardian. Naledi Casting will provide this document, which must then be submitted to the South African Labour Department for official approval.
6. Skills & Self-Tapes:
   • Applicants who play sports or engage in physical activities regularly should inform Naledi Casting of these skills.
   • Please send a clear selfie along with your introduction video as described above.
7. Profession (If Any): If you currently hold a job or profession (for example: nurse, teacher, waiter), please specify this in your application. Naledi Casting often receives requests for real professionals for certain shoots.
8. Photos and Fees: For information regarding one-off payments for professional photos, please contact 082 446 8132 to enquire about pricing.

   R50 per month (Subscribe button). On the first confirmed paid job, photos will be organised using the accumulated R50 payments, with the remaining balance deducted from the shoot payment.
